For some people, moving into a care home is the best option. This may be because of increasing frailty or perhaps the onset or progression of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
Caledonia provides relief nurses and experienced carers to private care homes who find themselves short of staff, whether through unforeseen staff sickness or holidays, often at very short notice.

All of our nurses are qualified 1st level nurses and all carers have the relevant experience to undertake this very demanding work. They will have all worked in the care home environment previously and will know exactly what to expect, and do just as good a job as the absent permanent member of staff who they are replacing. All have excellent experience and have a genuine compassion for older people and the problems that sometimes comes with increasing age.
