Welcome back to the Noticeboard!

Scottish Care at Home Awards Yet again, Caledonia has been successful in being nominated as finalists in this annual prestigious award ceremony. This year, Mo is a finalist in Administrator of the Year and Elspeth has been nominated as Trainer of the Year.
The event takes place at the Glasgow Thistle Hotel on Friday 16th May.
Good luck, girls!

Recruitment and Employment Confederation Congratulations to Mo for passing the first part of her Diploma in Recruitment Practice. She starts the second part in September, and sits her final exams the following June.
Ellen also starts her first part in September.
Both Mo and Ellen having this diploma will continue to ensure Caledonia's recruitment practices are absolutely spot on!

Caledonia Training We know quite a few of you have been contacted by Elspeth regarding your People Handling update. These will take place over the next few months and either Mo or Ellen willl be in touch regarding dates. If you haven't been contacted and you know that your update is due, please get in touch with the office.

New Home Office Rules After our recent extremely successful advertising campaign on Radio Clyde, we will soon have lots of staff new to Caledonia joining us - welcome!
Please note that we are now obliged to check the authenticity of everyone's passport and visa with the Home Office before commencing work with us.

Guide Dogs As many of you know, Guide Dogs for the Blind - Sponsor a Puppy Appeal is Caledonia's adopted charity. We raised over £233.00 at the Christmas raffle, so thanks to all who participated! The total now stands at £3,704.93. Mike from Guide Dogs has told us that we only need to reach $4,500 and not £5,000 until we can get our pup.
Only £795.17 to go! Watch out for the next fundraising event - it's a cracker!
